| When I first found my love for photography I was into nature. Once I was introduced to photoshop I was into surrealism. And now that I’ve been creating new ideas and images from my mind, I’ve found a love for portrait photography. Throughout my trimester of photo III I’ve explored many different styles but somehow I always end up going back to portrait. Sure this style is simpler but it’s not all that easy. It takes time to think of props (if the photographer wants them) that match with both the subject and the background. The artist, also, like any other style, needs to plan out an A worthy composition. I’ve found a love for this style because I’m able to use another subject’s features to create a “mood” or “feeling” that my viewers can take in. I believe this talent is really beautiful in the end if taken serious and created with a unique talent. For this project, I’ve chosen to photograph my subject outside in the light and in different positions/spots. I’m extremely proud with how all of my photos ended up looking like. I believe it really shows my love and talent for this style. For each photo, I enhanced my subjects eyes in closer-up pictures so my viewers could sense the “confronted” feel that I’ve attempted to create. All of the color that I purposely included reflect summer’s arrival. I believe that my viewers will feel a sense of happiness and maybe they’ll be able to “smell” and “feel” the sweet and warm air that’s being shown through my art. |
